Event Coverage | Lost Weekend
Because real-time updates are crucial, I worked with the on-site photographer to deliver social content during Lost Weekend, a three-day music event during South By Southwest 2017. After the event, I collected social media mentions, comments and analytics to create a post-event report with insights on consumer sentiment and experience.
Engagement | Margin Walker
As Marketing Assistant at Margin Walker, a Texas concert promoter, I increased Facebook engagement from 300 to 1,000 impressions per post. I also saw the necessity for a more efficient way to share information about multiple show announcements in a single day. So, I compiled a weekly list of announcements for the design team, who created one image to promote all shows for the coming week on social media, resulting in more efficient communication and time management for the marketing team.
VIP Giveaway | Sound on Sound Fest
At Sound on Sound Festival in 2016, our team brainstormed how we could engage consumers and create a special experience. The VIP giveaway was implemented to give one lucky music lover and a friend the VIP festival experience of a lifetime. I organized the giveaway which included VIP admission and camping wristbands to Sound on Sound Fest, as well as a bundle of vinyl from 50+ festival artists. Once I collected vinyl albums from the artists, I took photographs, wrote copy and collaborated with the design team to create an image to promote the giveaway on social media and the festival website.
